Molly’s Story

It all started when…

At the age of 7 Molly started kicking a ball with her older brother and would often be seen round the block using trees as goal posts. This soon became a passion….

Molly played for Newcastle United Centre of Excellence at the age of 12 up until 16 where she got into the women’s first team. Then, with the help from coach Mel Reay at Gateshead College academy of Sport, Molly was making her way to East Tennessee State University on a full football scholarship.

Unfortunately, with ongoing knee injuries due to overtraining and under fuelling, Molly had to take a step away from playing professionally. This is when she started to understand the importance of nutrition - fuelling correctly for the body and training for each individuals biomechanics.

“Once you start taking an holistic approach to your lifestyle, you will notice how your body finds its way back to balance.”

She completed her MSc in Sport and Exercise Nutrition at Loughborough University (placed #1 in the world for sport). Since then, Molly has been performance coaching, offering nutritional advice and training a number of clients; ranging from athletes, ex-professionals, beginners, people with disabilities and celebrities.

Being an ex athlete herself, Molly’s style of coaching involves encouraging you to push your boundaries of what you believe to be your limit. She has a strong belief in focusing on building strong foundations in the body through proper form and connecting mind to muscle. Expect to work hard but feel the benefits both physically and mentally after each session!

As a professional vegan chef, Molly’s cooking is inspired by the ever changing seasons and the incredible produce that is grown throughout the year here in the UK. She loves to cook food that is not only visually appealing, but nutritionally balanced through her vast knowledge in sport and variety of individuals that she’s worked with. To gather people together, from all different walks of life, through good food, is such a beautiful thing. She likes to create clever, outside the box, plates of goodness, when it comes to using the humble fruit & veg.
